The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) is a provincial
immigration program that allows the Government of Saskatchewan to
nominate individuals who wish to live and work in the province and who
have the skills and experience in demand by the provincial labor market.
It provides a faster route to permanent residency (PR) through multiple
immigration streams, focusing on skilled workers, entrepreneurs, and
those with family connections to the province.
Saskatchewan Express Entry:
This stream is aligned with the federal Express Entry system, designed
for
candidates in the Express Entry pool who meet Saskatchewan’s specific
criteria.
Applicants must have skilled work experience in an occupation that is in
demand in Saskatchewan.
Candidates are assessed on factors like education, work experience,
language
ability, and adaptability, using a points-based system.
Occupation In-Demand:
This stream is for individuals who do not have a job offer in Saskatchewan
but have experience in an occupation that is in high demand.
Applicants must meet minimum education, work experience, and language
requirements, and their occupation must be listed on Saskatchewan’s
In-Demand Occupation List.
No Express Entry profile is needed, making it accessible to those outside
the federal Express Entry system.
Employment Offer:
For skilled workers who have a permanent, full-time job offer from a
Saskatchewan employer.
Applicants must meet the qualifications for the job and possess work
experience in a NOC Skill Level 0, A, or B occupation.
